Rental Agreement Terms

Responsibility and Disclaimer

You are responsible for the use of rented items. You assume all risks and agree to indemnify and hold Glam Gatherings harmless from all claims for property damage or bodily injury (including death) resulting from the use of rented items. No warranties, expressed or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, have been made.

Equipment Failure

Immediately discontinue use if items become unsafe and notify Glam Gatherings within one hour. Glam Gatherings will make the items operable, provide a replacement, or adjust rental charges. Glam Gatherings is not responsible for injury or damage resulting from equipment failure.

Use of Equipment

Renter agrees to use equipment safely and only at the address listed in the contract for its intended purpose. Subleasing or improper use is prohibited.

Equipment Responsibility

Renter is responsible for equipment from possession to return. Renter assumes the risk of loss, regardless of cause, and shall pay for replacement or repair costs, including labor. A reasonable cleaning charge may apply for dirty items.

Time of Return

Renter's possession ends upon the expiration of the rental period. Extensions must be agreed upon in writing.

Late Returns

Renter shall return items promptly within the rental period. Late returns will incur continued rental rates.

Payment

Renter shall pay all charges per the payment schedule. Unpaid charges are subject to daily recalculation and a service charge of 2.0% per month on past due accounts. Renter shall pay collection costs, court fees, and attorney fees.

Deposit

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required at reservation unless otherwise discussed. The deposit will be forfeited if the reservation is canceled. A 50% cancellation/restocking fee applies if canceled within 5 days of the scheduled date.

Additional Charges

Additional charges apply for services including delivery and pickup to/from non-level ground, setup of tables/chairs, packaging materials not returned, service calls, and site surveys.

Delivery & Pickup

Renter shall repack items in original packaging for pickup. Delivery and pickup times are designated by Glam Gatherings. Renter shall assist with the pickup of items.

Care of Equipment

Renter shall protect items from weather, breakage, unauthorized use, theft, or loss. A cleaning charge applies for dirty items.

Insurance

Renter shall maintain liability, property, and casualty insurance coverage. In case of loss or damage, insurance proceeds shall be assigned to Glam Gatherings.

Site Preparation

Renter agrees to prepare the site for delivery and pickup, and pay additional charges for any delay or labor costs due to non-preparation.

Permits & Licenses

Renter shall obtain all necessary permits and licenses at their expense before installation of rental equipment.

Hold Harmless Agreement

Renter agrees to hold Glam Gatherings harmless from all claims, losses, liabilities, and damages arising from the use of rented equipment.

Damage Waiver

If agreed, Glam Gatherings relieves Renter of liability for accidental damage to rented items, excluding theft, misuse, intentional damage, or mysterious disappearance.

Returned Checks

A $75.00 charge applies to any returned check for any reason.
